Actim Celebrates Its Value Champion
At Actim, we aim to help people around the world receive better care through timely diagnoses. Our team of dedicated experts strive to develop innovative and easy-to-use rapid diagnostic tests that aid in choosing the right treatment at the point of care. This is the purpose we have served since day one.
Recognizing the efforts that our team members put into their daily work is a priority for us, and we also want to acknowledge our talents who are role models for their colleagues. Among other initiatives, we do so by awarding our team members who live by our company values #WeCare #WeDare and #WeDeliver that we share with Medix Biochemica. Our employees are invited to take part into this peer-to-peer nomination by voting for their colleagues they see as values-based role models.
We are thrilled to announce that Milla Wall — Technology Manager — was recently designated #WeDare Value Champion by her colleagues at Actim!
Milla joined the R&D team at Actim three years ago as a Technology Manager, focusing her work on the development of LF tests and the production of Actim control products. Milla describes her work as versatile and interesting, noting the opportunity to collaborate with different teams both at Actim and Medix Biochemica.
When asked about how it felt to be recognized for the #WeDare value, Milla expressed that it was both a great surprise and an honor to her. She added that being rewarded for her work was a great source of inspiration and motivation.
We also asked Milla how the company values are being reflected at Actim. She explained that the values #WeCare #WeDare and #WeDeliver are noticeable in the office every day, with everyone doing their best at what they do, in a cheerful and inspirational work environment. Milla added that colleagues are always eager to help each other, nurturing a great work environment.
Milla concluded by thanking all her colleagues for their excellent teamwork. She emphasized how much it meant to her that they nominated her, but even more so, she is grateful for their cooperation and for the peer-to-peer learning practices they are developing together. Milla added that she looks forward to continuing to work with such inspirational and great colleagues.
